Gilded: Recessed Disk Drop Earrings

Stone(s): N/A Material(s): Inner disks are 24K yellow gold vermeil. Outer disks and french hooks are oxidized sterling silver (pictured) or high polished sterling silver (.925). A set of rubber earring backs are included.  Measurement(s):  1.0” long and 7/16” wide.  Description/Artist Notes: Vermeil is a type of gold finish that is composed of a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver. The thickness of the gold portion must be a hefty 2.5 microns. The gold vermeil disks are hammered by hand and recessed into the sterling silver, for depth and texture.
