Victoria Alexander Marquez lives in Fallbrook, CA and is a graduate of California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, CA. She has used many mediums to create art. Starting with silkscreen textiles, producing hand screened fabric as “Fauvette”, and later freelance textile graphic design and silkscreen t-shirts using drawing, painting and computer graphics. While working in the more commercial side of art, fine art was always a part of life making mono silkscreens, etchings, acrylic and oil paintings and collages all of which led to the current mixed media landscape paintings of the Wild Open Spaces. She has exhibited art throughout southern California and Baja California, Mexico starting in 1991 and at the beginning of this year is in exhibitions in San Diego, Ensenada, Baja California, and Barcelona, Spain.
