After being away from San Diego for the better part of a year, I just had to get out to the Pacific to paint. First stop, Sunset Cliffs. Incredibly dramatic, beautiful lines in the sandstone, and the constant breeze.
Plein-air (on-site) painting always has its pros and cons, this day it was of pros…painting at the edge of the Pacific Ocean at Sunset Cliffs, ample space to breathe in the fresh air, watching people jump off the cliffs and into the water, pelicans doing fly-bys, and as always, painting the light. Great day!
