These blossoms are fragile, and favorable weather is necessary to produce a strong, plentiful crop. Our tupelo honey supply comes from the Wewahitchka area in the Florida panhandle and from the banks of the Savannah river in Georgia. Raw, unfiltered Tupelo honey has an amazing flavor profile. It has a bright, fruity-floral burst that dissolves on the tongue, with a warm buttery finish. Tupelo honey has a lower glycemic index than most honeys and has a high resistance to crystallization.
