Description
Hand-dyed cotton thread, in the beautiful blues and aquas of a summer sky above the lake, was crocheted into a multitude of wavy strands that end with shimmering glass beads reminiscent of a glistening drop of rain. These strands dangle from an ornate, antique silver canopy. I call these earrings Sky Fringe for obvious reasons! The lovely tassels hang from antique silve earring wires.
Each tassel is about 1 1/2 inches long, and measures close to 2 1/2 inches in length if measured from the top of the earring wire to the bottom of the fringe. The antique silver cap is about 5/8 inch in diameter.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
Color, texture and imagination, often inspired by my observations of the natural world and works of art, are the key components in my creations.
