Sunrise Mist is based on a barn scene I came across in my travels near the Bourbeuse River. I photographed the barn in the afternoon, but because of the giant oak tree the scene had an eerie look to it. I thought it would be far more interesting if depicted in the early morning twilight surrounded with the the misty fog I often see in my Ozark travels.
