Description
This is my valet tray with one drawer.
The carcass is made from black walnut and the drawer front is spalted maple.
This is the perfect place to organize your wallet, keys, glasses, phone or anything else that comes out of you pockets at the end of your day. The bin in the back will hold your phone, or up to a 10" tablet with an opening in the bottom let's you run in your cables for charging. I've included two grommets in the corners to help secure the cables to the floor of the bin, when not in use. The shelf and the drawer are lined with tan ultra-suede to protect your valuables.
The box is finished with several hand-rubbed coats of clear lacquer and then waxed to bring out the natural color and figure of the woods.
