Red fingers of glass fused into a circle and slumped. Yellow glass triangles fused and slumped. The yellow is epoxied onto the red.
The piece is food safe and the red base is approx. 10" in diam.

Art and design has always been a passion of mine. While my formal education was not art centered, I have taken a number of classes specific to fused glass technique and composition.
I tend to favor functional art: my work ranges from bowls to platters to vases and clocks.
I also do a lot of reclaiming of glass by making melted bottles clocks, spoon rests, cheese boards and lamps.
