LRB PAPER EARRINGS

Dinosaur that I am I still have print subscriptions to a few magazines and journals. Rather than chucking them all into the recycle bin I decided to have some fun with the beauty of printed text. Multiple pages are laminated together then cut into hearts which I put together into these charming dimensional forms. The whole is sealed with water-based varnish. The results are graphic lightweight and above all fun! I have assembled them into earrings using a variety of materials from delicately sparkling to frankly funky including Czech crystals water buffalo horn and vintage plastic. All light weight for easy wear. Handmade earwires of Argentium .930 silver do not tarnish.This collection uses pages from the London Review of Books.
