The inspiration for this blue teal scarf was a calm sea day in a small village in Tellaro Italy. As the day was progressing the color and the water and the sea was changing almost every hour from blue to yellow-orange making me not wanting to move away from the window. As nature is perfect it is hard to capture that perfect beauty on the silk.

Mila loves silk and at the same time she loves art so she decided to start painting on silk.
Inspirations are coming from travelling through Canada, Europe, and USA and a desire to capture the colours of the beautiful places she visits.
Mila started with hand painted silk scarves and silk throw pillows. At the later date she started with expressing herself by creating large paintings using silk as canvas and silk dyes as a medium.
Regardless if she is in a small trailer, her house in Toronto, summer house at the sea Mila expresses her surroundings with her art. Silk dyes, silk fabric, and her brushes are always with her.
