B327. Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs Charm Bracelet. I made this bracelet using Cracker Jack/gumball charms for 2 of the 7 dwarfs (Happy & Grumpy), a brass Snow White charm, a brass partially eaten apple charm, & “Snow White” stamped on 2 copper rectangles. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Productions based on the Grimm's fairy tale. The chain is silver-tone; the bracelet measures 8”, but can be worn shorter.

My jewelry reflects my passion for antiquing & recycling. I love working with early plastics (e.g., bakelite), found objects (e.g., vintage pinback buttons, lithograph tin, old bottle tops, transit tokens, electrical resisters, etc.), broken vintage jewelry & charms, metal (especially copper), & gemstone beads to create something fun & interesting to wear. I use a variety of techniques in my work, including cold connections, texturing, soldering, riveting, wire-wrapping, enameling, & forming. I take jewelry classes at the Des Moines Art Center, & enjoy learning & experimenting with new techniques. Each piece of jewelry I design is unique, & comes with a story that describes the history of the materials used &/or the message/meaning of the work.
