This picture has been discounted (originally $1,590) because it was made in 2009 and the frame shows wear. However, the actual piece is still in good condition with only minor wear. I can ship the picture with the frame, or if you feel you would prefer to frame it yourself, I can remove the frame and ship it unframed. However, my discounted prices is already marked as if the picture were being sold unframed, so the price is fixed.

Jane Burke makes framed marquetry pictures using wood veneers of different species and colors to create lovely representations of nature, people and whatever takes her fancy. No two pictures are identical as wood grain has infinite variability and no two pieces of wood are the same. The pieces are sealed with either lacquer or a hand rubbed oil and wax finish. Pictures are framed, ready to be hung. Jane also accepts commissions, making pictures to specific sizes and colors according to the customer's preferences.
