Description
This piece has been in my private collection until 2020, which is why it has been discounted. I particularly love the detail on the inside of the mayapple flower, and the stark whiteness of the petals. The quilted cherry background adds a richness to the piece. The leaves are all poplar. The speckles in the wenge mat and in some places in the actual piece are an antiquing process which I add to make the piece look a little more aged.

No two pictures are identical as wood grain has infinite variability and no two pieces of wood are the same. The pieces are sealed with either lacquer or a hand rubbed oil and wax finish. Pictures are framed, ready to be hung. Jane also accepts commissions, making pictures to specific sizes and colors according to the customer's preferences.
