The black of the sky and the yellow umbrella are dyed veneers. However, the rest of the picture are natural wood colors. The skirt is a particularly interesting piece of quilted maple as it looks like it has folds in her skirt.

No two pictures are identical as wood grain has infinite variability and no two pieces of wood are the same. The pieces are sealed with either lacquer or a hand rubbed oil and wax finish. Pictures are framed, ready to be hung. Jane also accepts commissions, making pictures to specific sizes and colors according to the customer's preferences.
