These mittens are made with pre-loved wool sweaters which have been washed and felted numerous times to achieve a warm and durable material. They should fit snugly at first - they will stretch to fit after just a wearing or two. Wash on delicate and line dry to preserve their shape. The exterior is felted wool from sweaters, the interior is lining from new materials. The exterior is hand sewn using a unique one piece pattern and paired with a suitable lining based upon the exterior. These mittens have a moderate amount of stretch in the felted wool and should fit average to small hands. Each wool felts differently, and I do my best to differentiate this in the description so you know what to expect.
