The Road to Emmaus

This is a print of an original work of art. It is 8 by 10 and matted to measure 11 by 14. “The Road to Emmaus” It had been days of horror, fear and deep disappointment. The two disciples were on their way to Emmaus and as they walked they were trying to make sense of it all. When this stranger joined them, they had no idea who it was. But when they were finally able to see that this stranger was indeed their Lord, and Messiah, their joy had to have been indescribable. This work is about the elation and adoration of the disciples when they discover the risen Christ on that lonely road. It is also about my own similar discoveries.
