FaithFest Application

Who Can Compete? This contest is an amateur singing completion. All contestants must be amateur entertainers. Professional entertainers, those who receive ANY INCOME for performing or recordings are not permitted to enter. All ages are welcome. FaithFest has three categories: adult, youth and choir groups. The adult category is for contestants 18 years of age and over. Parent/legal guardian must sign application for contestants under 18 years of age. Choir groups are organization specific. More About FaithFest: Forsythia FaithFest is a Christian based singing competition celebrating music, faith, and our community. The competition is part of the annual Forsythia Festival held during the second weekend of March. This competition celebrates faith-based music through all styles including contemporary rock, pop, praise and worship, gospel, R&B, hip hop, country, and more.

All accepted applicants must be available for rehearsal and performance Saturday, March 9 from 4 PM until the end of the contest. The mailing address for the entry is FaithFest, 10 W. Chambers St., Forsyth, GA 31029. All participants and their families release Forsythia FaithFest from any liability resulting from their performance and attendance at this event. All participants give the Forsythia Festival unrestricted authorization to use their name, photo, voice recording, video recording, entry materials, and/or likeness in promotional materials without further compensation. Songs performed must be Christian based. If a contestant proposes to sing an original work, by doing so the contestant confirms that he or she has the authority to grant to Dartmouth a nonexclusive license to record and reproduce the work as part of all of the productions associated with this event. The Forsythia FaithFest coordinators reserve the right to disqualify any contestant whose performance, dress attire, or song does not meet faith- and family-based entertainment standards.
