Line-up: 4:30-5:00 p.m. • GSP Safety Check: 5:00 p.m. • Judging: 5:15-5:30 p.m. • Parade: 5:30-7 p.m.
Parade Length: 1.5 miles
Line up begins in the Jekyll Island Golf Course parking lot at 4:30 p.m. The parade departs from the parking lot at 5:30 p.m. heading west on Captain Wylly Road, south on Old Plantation Road to Stable Road, then along Pier Road, and will wind behind Sans Souci to end on the Main Lawn around the Christmas Tree. *Explanation of categories: “Business” – a For Profit organization; “Non-Profit” – a Not for Profit organization or 501C3; “Community/Individual” – any person(s), group, or organization that does not fall into the Business or Non-Profit categories. **NOTE: Jekyll Island Authority (JIA) does NOT allow campaigning in or at any JIA event.
Type of Entries: Golf Cart • Red Bug • Cyclist • Walker (Pets allowed)
Rules & Regulations:
1. Decorate your golf cart, electric cart, bicycle, or dress up in a holiday theme
• Music is encouraged
2. Decorations may NOT:
• Extend more than (1”) one inch from the vehicle on either the left or the right sides
• Extend below the body of the vehicle
• Impede the vehicle’s tires or its ability to turn tight corners
3. NO Trailers or Balloons are allowed in the parade
4. ALL entries MUST have working headlights and windshields must be visible
• Headlights MUST be on and visible at all times
• Windshield cannot be obstructed from view
5. Only the official Jekyll Island Authority Santa will be allowed in the parade. No others dressed as Santa may enter.
• Please no Santa costumes on people, pets, or plush
6. Check in and line up ends promptly at 5:00 p.m. No additional participants will be admitted after that time.
7. GSP will be checking for lights at 5:00 p.m.
8. Participants may only win in one category
9. Judging:
• Judging from 5:15-5:30 p.m.
• All participants must be present at time of judging.
10. Awards:
• Following parade on the Main Lawn

• Community/Individual (Golf Carts/Red Bugs/ATVs/Cyclists) - #200’s
• Non-Profit Participants - #300’s
• Business Participants - #400’s
