About the event

Join us for a culinary and artsy adventure as we collaborate with the Famous Food Festival to feature our ART DISTRICT once more during the 2024 season. "Taste the World" just got a whole lot better with delectable dishes inspired by countries from all around the globe. The event features over 60 food vendors and will now have an exclusive vendor area that highlights the arts and small businesses! Our goal is to bring Long Island a festival that they can be proud of - one that's filled with unique and exotic eats that will tantalize your taste buds. But that's not all; with this year's partnership we hope to also bring Artists, Makers and other unique businesses to truly build up this festival as a staple to the Long Island community.

About the application

VOLUNTEER TASK: Set-Up Crew: Coordinate artist check-ins, manage table and tent set-up. Event Support: Assist with various event needs, offering directions, and troubleshooting. Information Hub: Staff the informational booth, providing event details and answering questions. Stage Crew: Assist with stage logistics and artist support. Vendor Liaison: Connect with vendors, ensuring smooth setup and addressing concerns.

Volunteer Terms and Conditions By volunteering with Colored Colors, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Donation of Services You acknowledge that you are freely volunteering your services to Colored Colors and that you will receive no form of compensation for your work. You waive any right to present or future payment in exchange for your volunteer services. 2. Training and Compliance You agree to complete any training deemed necessary by Colored Colors for your volunteer role. You agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies established by Colored Colors. 3. Volunteer Status You acknowledge that you are a volunteer and not an employee of Colored Colors. You are not entitled to any benefits typically associated with employment. 4. Liability You acknowledge that you are liable for any damages you cause to third parties while acting outside the scope of your assigned volunteer duties. You may be held personally liable for damages caused to third parties during your volunteer work if it is determined that such damages were the result of your negligence. 5. Confidentiality You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information you may be exposed to as a volunteer for Colored Colors. This includes, but is not limited to, donor information, beneficiary information, and internal organizational matters. You will not disclose confidential information without express written authorization from Colored Colors. 6. Intellectual Property You agree that any work product created during your volunteer service becomes the exclusive property of Colored Colors. This includes, but is not limited to, written materials, designs, inventions, or other forms of intellectual property. By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
