About the event

The 2024 Oktoberfest is on track to be almost twice the size of 2023! Our second annual Oktoberfest in Downtown Meridian in 2023 was a huge success for all those involved. The event throughout the day recorded an attendance of just over 11,000 people. The vendors that participated last year all remarked on the value of this event. The 2024 Meridian Oktoberfest event is looking to have 18,000 eventgoes this year and we are looking for vendors to participate. There is a committee that will review each application to ensure we are getting the mix of vendors and products that our attendees are looking for this year. This includes a specific need for food vendors to meet our culturally appropriate needs for an authentic Oktoberfest cuisine selection. Consider adding some specials to your menu: Brats, pretzles, schnitzel, strudle, schweinebraten, sourkraut, sauerkraut...hint hint ;-) Vendors will be expected to be set-up and work their vendor location from 10:00 AM till 9:00 PM.

About the application

Join us for the 3rd Annual Oktoberfest in Downtown Meridian! We are anticipating upwards of 18,000 eventgoers, 80 vendors, 4 bands, and 2 stages...plus many activities and contests throughout the day! This is an exclusive invitation to our Chamber Ambassadors and core volunteer network to share in the excitement and success of this day. We will need all of you to help make it a great event for our crew, guests and members. You will be able to choose from four different 4-hour shifts in three areas of assignment; Guest Services, Vendor Management, and Activities Management. You can sign up for up to 4 shifts as long as they are not overlapping. All volunteers must agree to participate in or view the recording of, our volunteer training zoom call. This training is necessary to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all. We are thrilled you'll join us in making this a great day for our Meridian Community!

Terms & Conditions

*Must participate or view training zoom call. *Must commit to show up on time and serve your full shift. *Consuming alcohol during your scheduled shift is prohibited. *Wear comfortable shoes. *Bring a water bottle. *Arrive early for your first shift to receive your T-Shirt. *Download the Eventeny App to your smart phone (this will be primary point of communication in the days leading up to the event and the day of the event.
