About the application

Our mission is simple: to provide a free, family-friendly, multi-genre, live music event to support local artisans, businesses and musicians while bringing people together through music. Whether you're a music enthusiast or just someone eager to contribute to an exciting community event, as a volunteer you'll play a crucial role in bringing the festival to life and ensuring its success. There are many opportunities, from greeting guests to assisting with setup and everything in between. No matter your skill set or availability, there's a spot for you! VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ARE: Greeter Alcohol Monitor Recycle and Trash ID Attendant Set-up & Tear Down Festival tent, retail ID Attendant: KNOW BEFORE YOU GO This position is great for people who like people! You'll check ID to be sure the guest is over 21 years of age, then secure a bracelet on their wrist. Table, chairs and shade are provided.

Terms & Conditions

All volunteers receive a coveted Sherwood Music Festival t-shirt, bottled water and a meal ticket upon check-in for your shift. CHECK IN TIME is 30 minutes before the shift begins. This gives you time to change your into your festival t-shirt (if you'd like), get your water bottle and be at your assigned spot to relieve your fellow team member on time. This is a rain or shine event so come prepared! Regardless of weather, we ask for your commitment to your shift and prompt notification via text if an emergency arises.

Everyone must be ID'd and have a bracelet to buy beer, cider or wine. Table, chairs and shade are provided.

message PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SHIFT BEGINS and check in at the Information Booth on the lower lawn. There you'll receive your festival t-shirt, water bottle and meal ticket if you're working two or more shifts. You'll check ID to be sure the guest is over 21 years of age, then secure a bracelet on their wrist. Everyone must be ID'd and have a bracelet to buy beer, cider or wine - no exceptions.
