About the event

Every year, thousands of people flock to downtown Fruita to celebrate the life of a world-famous headless chicken named Mike. The 2024 festival will be held on May 31 and June 1 at the Fruita Civic Center Pavilion. There will be food vendors, artisans, live music, 5k run, car show, free backyard games, disc golf, wing and peep eating contests, and a pancake breakfast.

About the application

We are in need of volunteers for the Mike the Headless Chicken Festival! Please fill out this application, and once you are approved, we will get back to you prior to the event with more information. Please click on each shift to see the specifc details. VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION: 1 shift - MTHC volunteer t-shirt, $15 merchandise store voucher. 2 shifts - All of the above plus a $12 food... + More
