About the event

Back for its 35th year, Grand Rapids Pride Festival is taking over Calder Plaza once again with this year's theme “Unapologetically Me, 2023!” Our focus is not only to support local businesses and artists, we also want to work to create a safe, open and inclusive environment for Grand Rapids community members to celebrate who they are! Grand Rapids Pride Center (GRPC) will be selling flags and other merch at their vendor booth on Ottawa in front of Calder Plaza. We will need volunteers to run the vendor booth (selling merch, processing payments, etc.).

  • By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are agreeing to volunteer for a set number of hours at the festival for which you’ve applied. If you fail to attend your training session and/or fail to show up for your volunteer shift you may be prevented from volunteering at the Grand Rapids Pride Festival and Grand Rapids Pride Center at future events. If you are unable to attend the volunteer shift you signed up for you must contact Lauren Burnell by email (lauren.burnell@grpride.org) or phone (616-458-3511) no less than 24 hours prior to your shift start time to withdraw your application.
