🎆 Stone Ridge 4th of July Celebration 🇺🇸 Stars, Stripes & 250 Years 📍 Saturday, July 4, 2026 | Greenstone Pool Parking Lot Join us as we celebrate Independence Day and a historic milestone—America’s 250th anniversary—with one of Stone Ridge’s most cherished traditions. Start your holiday with a morning full of community pride, patriotic spirit, and festive fun at our annual parade. Event Schedule 🎤 Opening Ceremony: 10:00 AM Featuring a special performance of the National Anthem by Mady Taxis 🎉 Parade Begins: 10:20 AM – 11:00 AM 🍦 Free Ice Cream Celebration: Enjoy complimentary treats from the Hershey’s Ice Cream Food Truck immediately following the parade Parade Route: Greenstone Pool ➡ Greenstone Drive ➡ Bear Tooth Drive ➡ Pepperbush Place ➡ back to Greenstone Pool 🚨 Road Closures: Sections of Greenstone Drive, Bear Tooth Drive, and Pepperbush Place will be closed from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon). 🚒 Parade proudly led by the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department

About the application

Volunteer for the 4th of July Parade! Be part of the team that brings the Stone Ridge 4th of July Parade to life! We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help us create a smooth and memorable experience for everyone in the community. Whether you're helping with check-in, guiding parade participants, or handing out popsicles at the end, your time and energy will make a big impact. Volunteer Roles May Include: Assisting with parade check-in and lineup Route support and crowd guidance Handing out refreshments and popsicles at the Greenstone Pool Helping with setup and cleanup Most volunteer shifts begin at 9:00 AM and wrap up by 12:00 PM. This is a great opportunity for teens looking for service hours and adults who love giving back. Plus, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at one of our most festive events of the year!
