1. Volunteer Status
Volunteers serve in a voluntary capacity and are not employees of the festival, its organizers, or affiliated organizations. No wages or monetary compensation will be provided.
2. Selection
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Volunteers will be selected based on availability, reliability, and the operational needs of the event.
3. Duties & Responsibilities
Festival Support Volunteers assist with general event operations to help ensure a positive experience for guests, vendors, and staff. Tasks may include:
Helping keep festival areas clean and organized
Monitoring trash and recycling bins and notifying staff when they need attention
Checking on common areas and reporting any issues to event staff
Assisting with light cleanup when needed
Helping with small tasks wherever extra assistance is required
Volunteers should be willing to help where needed and follow instructions from event coordinators.
4. Professional Conduct
Volunteers are expected to be respectful, courteous, and professional when interacting with guests, vendors, staff, and fellow volunteers. The event organizers reserve the right to dismiss any volunteer for inappropriate behavior or failure to follow instructions.
5. Attendance & Commitment
Selected volunteers are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled shift and remain for the full duration unless otherwise approved by event staff.
6. Liability Waiver
Volunteers understand that participation in a public festival may involve certain risks. By volunteering, you agree to release and hold harmless Texas F&B Festivals LLC, JG-Events, the event venue, sponsors, and affiliated partners from any liability, injury, loss, or damage that may occur during your participation.
7. Media Release
Volunteers grant permission for photographs or video recordings taken during the event to be used by the festival organizers for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes without compensation.
8. Volunteer Benefits
Selected volunteers may receive benefits such as VIP access and an official festival volunteer t-shirt. These benefits are provided at the discretion of the event organizers and may vary depending on role and availability.
9. Agreement
By submitting this application, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you agree to comply with these terms and conditions if selected to volunteer.
