Grand Feature Parade – Saturday, May 2, 2026 (1:30 PM step-off) The signature event of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival®, the Grand Feature Parade brings thousands to the streets of Winchester for an unforgettable celebration. With colorful floats, special guests, community organizations, and plenty of fanfare, it’s the highlight of the weekend and a true showcase of tradition and spirit.

About the application

The float committee is need of volunteers to help with building the floats. They have small and large jobs available and everyone is welcome!

By participating in float construction and activities at the Float Warehouse, all volunteers and participants acknowledge and agree that they are doing so at their own risk. The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® and its representatives are not responsible or liable for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, loss, or damage that may occur while working in or around the Float Warehouse. Participants are expected to follow all safety guidelines, use tools and equipment properly, and act responsibly at all times. Anyone who does not follow safety instructions may be asked to leave the work area. By entering the Float Warehouse and participating in float activities, you agree to these terms.
