Hop Into Uptown Volunteers

message Meet the train driver at the Uptown Ankeny Association office, help them get the train and ticket stand across the street, and sell tickets for the train ride (cash and Venmo accepted) during the first half of the event. You may have to do some line management, telling people where to stand. Helping to load and unload the train (opening the car doors for people) is also appreciated.

message Manage the bounce house for the first half of the event. Make sure kids take off their shoes before entering, make sure the line is flowing. If the line gets long, implement a time limit on bouncing and make sure kids are getting in and out when their time limit is up.

message The Bunny Helper will escort the Easter Bunny to their stops, making sure they arrive on time, and you will also manage the photo line and hand out filled eggs to everyone who takes a picture with the bunny.

message You can be the main event! Dress up in our Easter Bunny costume and take pictures with attendees at the first 3 Bunny Stops. Please wear a solid-colored shirt (designs will show through the bunny fur). The Easter Bunny will be assigned a Bunny Helper who will make sure they get to each photo spot on time, and who will manage the photo line.

message Walk up and down the streets of Uptown and help direct people to the current bunny stops, bounce house, Eggsplore scavenger hunt clues, and other event attractions (train rides, crafts, etc) during the first half of the event.

You may have to do some line management, telling people where to stand. Helping to load and unload the train (opening the car doors for people) is also appreciated. Help the train driver get the train back to the garage and stowed away after the event is completed.
