Volunteers are needed in various areas.
Parade Volunteers Early morning at 7:00 at Floyd Middle School (5Needed)
Assist with parade setup and coordination. Help participants find their starting positions, keep parade flow organized, and provide general support along the parade route. Some walking and standing required.
Art Center Volunteers Throughout the day on Saturday in 2hour shifts (3 Needed)
Primary role is to keep individuals with food from entering the Arts Center. For this purpose an information table to greet guests to say welcome will be placed outside Individuals with food will be guided to the public seating available across the road. The East Cobb Quilters Guild will have quilts on display. Those without food will be welcomed inside. ( Shifts, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, 12:00pm to 2:00pm, and 2:00pm to 4:00pm)
Public Seating Area Volunteers Shifts Throughout the day on Saturday (5 Needed)
Help maintain cleanliness and comfort in the public seating areas. Duties clearing the tables of garbage, wiping down tables, ensuring seats are available for guests, and keeping the area tidy and welcoming throughout the event.
Friday Event Prep Volunteers
Assist with pre-event setup on Friday. Tasks may include unloading supplies, helping open crates containing signage, helping with arranging of tables and chairs and preparing materials for Saturday activities.
Floaters Afternoon (1-2 Needed)
Flexible volunteers ready to jump in where needed. Tasks may include covering short-staffed areas, assisting with guest flow, running materials to different stations, or filling urgent needs as they arise.
