About the event

Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week (March 31–April 5, 2026) is a weeklong series of events across Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors, culminating in Bear Village at Richardson Park—a festival day with entertainment, vendors, food, and a cash bar. This Eventeny listing coordinates vendors for Bear Village and volunteers for all week events (check-in, setup/breakdown, hospitality, ops) across multiple venues; volunteers may sign up for multiple shifts. Protocol: check in on arrival, wear your wristband/badge, arrive 15 minutes early, follow staff/venue instructions, keep walkways/fire lanes clear, and clean up your area. Parking: use public lots/street parking near each venue; Richardson Park uses surrounding public parking; the beach party uses Birch State Park parking—allow extra travel/entry time. About the application

A relaxed midday hangout where local bears grab a bite, catch up, and meet new faces before the evening events kick in. Easy vibes, good food, and the perfect chance to breathe, laugh, and reset the pace. Volunteers for this event will man a table and entertain guests, answer questions and rally everyone for the fun ahead. Volunteers will need to be at the EAGLE no later than 12:30pm. Back Doors off parking lot. We will group together and gather the materials for the activation at Gym Bar. Together we will walk to the venue and set up on the sidewalk in front of GYM Bar. This event is super chill and relaxed. No tickets are required to attend.

Terms & Conditions

Volunteer applications are for Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week (March 31–April 5, 2026) events across Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, and the beach. Roles include check-in/wristbands, hospitality, line/flow, runner support, and setup/breakdown (light lifting and keeping areas organized/clean). Protocol: check in on arrival, wear your volunteer credential, arrive 15 minutes early, follow venue/event lead instructions, keep exits/walkways/ADA access and fire lanes clear, and report any safety issues immediately. Setup/breakdown: some shifts start before doors for load-in and end after close for cleanup—please be on time and ready to stay through your scheduled shift.
