About the application

Hey there, Superstar Volunteers! A massive shoutout for joining the party at Penn Cove Musselfest 2026 in the electrifying Mussel Mingle! Dive into the evening vibes of this ticketed bash, where we're serving up a delicious meal alongside ice-cold beer, wine, and cider, all set to killer live music that'll keep the energy flowing and kick off the weekend in style. Designed to launch the festivities, it's traditionally been our Friday night opener before Musselfest Weekend – but this year, due to overwhelming demand, we're adding a second night on Saturday for even more fun! We're calling all fun-loving folks (21+ only!) to step up and make the magic happen: pour those perfect beverages, hustle tokens and fresh mussels like a pro, keep an eye on exits for smooth sailing, and rock the entry by checking IDs (and tickets) with a welcoming grin. Get ready to be the heart of the action! Quick heads-up: All Mussel Mingle volunteers must be 21 or older and crush a mandatory training session – it's set for Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6-8 PM (date/time TBD for now) at the Rec Hall. Don't forget to bring your ID, and check out the available slots to snag your spot! Pro tips for success: Roll up to your station 5 minutes early to dive right in, and hang tight for 5 minutes after your shift for a seamless handoff. Plus, every volunteer kicks things off by checking in with the Volunteer Coordinator at the Masonic Lodge to pick up your T-shirt, Badge, and any last-minute instructions – so build in extra time to get geared up and ready to rock! Please also check OUT through the Masonic Lodge (or alternate location as instructed) to turn in any equipment and/or request letters of volunteer time. Let's turn this Mussel Mingle into the ultimate hotspot – your energy will make Musselfest unforgettable!
