About the event

Spreading joy, love, and hope this Christmas season. Hunter’s Heart for the Holidays is a community-driven Christmas assistance program created to bring holiday joy to children and families facing financial hardship in Baldwin County, AL or referred by partnering organizations. Our mission is simple: to ensure that every child experiences the magic of Christmas, no matter their circumstances. Through the generosity of sponsors and volunteers, children are “adopted” from our Wish Trees and receive personalized gifts chosen just for them. Every donation—big or small—helps us make Christmas brighter for families right here in our community. For Sponsors: Sponsors make this program possible! Your business or organization can help by adopting children or families, providing monetary or gift donations, or offering support through goods or services. Your contribution directly impacts local families and shows your commitment to spreading kindness in our community. Sponsorship packages are available and include options for businesses or individuals who would like to support multiple children or sponsor the program as a whole. For Volunteer Shoppers: Volunteer Shoppers are individuals or families who “adopt” a child and shop for their Christmas gifts. You’ll receive that child's favorite color, age, sizes, and wish list so you can make their Christmas extra special. Becoming an Volunteer Shopper is a wonderful way to share the joy of giving and connect with your community this holiday season. Families experiencing financial hardship are invited to apply for assistance through Hunter’s Heart for the Holidays. This program is limited to residents of the Baldwin County, AL. Requirements: - Proof of address (such as your lease, or utility bill) is required. - Applicants must be the primary guardian(s) of the child(ren) listed and the child(ren) must live in the household a majority of the time. - Children must be 17 years old or younger as of December 25th, 2025 in order to qualify for this program. To help us ensure our program supports families most in need, we ask that applicants share a brief description of their current financial situation or any documentation showing financial hardship (such as proof of income, assistance benefits, or other qualifying documentation). All information is kept confidential and used only to verify eligibility and to avoid duplicate assistance.

About the application

A Gift Wrapping Station will be set up during Bay Area Events’ Holiday Market & Family Day on Saturday, December 20th from 1:00–3:00 PM at Jordan Beech Farms & Venue in Daphne, AL. This station will give parents the special opportunity to wrap the gifts they receive through our Hunter’s Heart for the Holidays program — adding a personal touch to their children’s presents. We are looking for a few friendly volunteers to: • Help keep wrapping supplies (paper, tape, tags, ribbons, etc.) organized and stocked • Assist parents with wrapping if needed • Maintain a warm, welcoming, and festive environment If you enjoy spreading holiday cheer and have an eye for organization (or wrapping skills!), we’d love to have you join us!

Terms & Conditions

Thank you for volunteering to help at the Gift Wrapping Station during Bay Area Events’ Holiday Market & Family Day! Your support helps create a meaningful and festive experience for families receiving gifts through Hunter’s Heart for the Holidays. 1. Volunteer Commitment • Volunteers agree to assist during their assigned shift(s) on Saturday, December 20th, from 1:00–3:00 PM at Jordan Beech Farms & Venue, Daphne, AL. • Punctuality is important to ensure the station runs smoothly. • If you are unable to attend, please notify a coordinator as soon as possible. 2. Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities Volunteers may be assigned to one or more of the following tasks: • Keeping wrapping supplies (paper, tape, ribbons, tags, scissors, etc.) organized and stocked. • Assisting parents in wrapping gifts as needed. • Ensuring that the wrapping area remains clean, tidy, and welcoming. • Offering a kind and respectful environment that reflects the mission and values of Hunter’s Heart Foundation. 3. Conduct & Confidentiality • Volunteers must treat all participants and fellow volunteers with kindness, patience, and respect. • Family or child information related to gift distribution is strictly confidential and may not be shared publicly or discussed outside of the event. • Volunteers represent Hunter’s Heart Foundation and are expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times. 4. Safety & Supplies • Volunteers should handle scissors, tape dispensers, and other tools safely. • Please notify the coordinator if supplies are running low or if any hazards arise. • Children may accompany parents to the wrapping station—volunteers should maintain a safe and organized workspace at all times. 5. Photography & Media • Photos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. • Volunteers consent to the use of their image in Hunter’s Heart Foundation or Bay Area Events media unless they opt out in writing prior to the event. 6. Liability Waiver By volunteering, you acknowledge that participation is at your own risk and agree to release and hold harmless Hunter’s Heart Foundation, Bay Area Events, and all associated staff, partners, and venues from any liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event. 7. Agreement By submitting your volunteer form or signing in at the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
