About the event

The World AIDS Day Red Dress Run/Walk is The Ladies Room SC’s signature fundraiser and awareness event, uniting community members, organizations, and allies across the Upstate of South Carolina to honor lives lost, uplift people living with HIV, and recommit to ending the epidemic. Participants of all genders lace up in red dresses or attire to break stigma, spark conversation, and stand in solidarity. This isn’t just a walk — it’s a bold, visible statement!

About the application

Course Marshals –Positioned along the route to direct participants and cheer them on. Water Station Crew – Hands out water and snacks mid-course. First Aid/Medical Support – Monitors health and safety of participants (partner with local EMTs). Route Guide Lead – Walks/jogs ahead of participants to ensure route is safe and signage is correct. Sweeper Walker – Walks at the back to ensure no one is left behind.
