Permian Basin Comic Con X is celebrating 11 years of fandom, fun, and unforgettable weekends in West Texas — and you’re invited to be part of it. About the application

Volunteers are the skeleton on which the convention is built. We are responsible for set up, tear down, and every task in between both great and small! While it is a lot of work it is also extremely rewarding. Volunteers will work closely with others in their department as well as coordinators to tackle tasks, take care of guests, assist our team of celebrities and talent, and even set up tech and demos for onsite attractions. Perks for Volunteering are hour based and subject to availability. Shifts for most departments are broken down into 4 hour increments. The minimum required hours is 8 hours to gain access to the show. High tiers grant previous tier incentives. -8 hours grants a Lanyard and Day of Attendee Badge*. -12 hours grants an art print from convention merchandise. -16hours grants you an autographed print**. -20 hours grants you an official Convention T-Shirt. -24+ hours will be given official convention merch and first selection of autographs*. *16+ hours will receive multi-day badges at the end of final shift. **Autographs are subject to supply and availability. The autograph selection may include previous guests who are not at this event.

Terms & Conditions

All Volunteers must adhere to ALL convention policies, including our Zero Tolerance Harassment Policy. (https://con-live.com/conduct-policy) (https://con-live.com/prop-policy) Normal attire is required during your shift. Closet cosplays may be acceptable for some positions, feel free to ask. It should be noted that Guest Relations does not allow cosplay of any kind while on shift.
