3-1-4 Day "Let's Shop Local" Small Business Expo

message The pre-event set-up includes setting up room for the Holiday Expo and the Pitch Competition (two different rooms on opposite side of the building) - This is the day before the event (Friday, Nov 28)

message Vendor set up time is from 8am - 10am. Using the vendor map, you will help vendors find their pre-assigned space; help them store their excess merchandise in the storage closet or help them bring their merchandise into the building. Breakfast served at 10am.

message These volunteers will check in vendors that that didn't set up during the 8am - 10am shift. All vendor tables will be marked - there will be a map showing location of vendor tables. The Expo opens at 1pm (at the conclusion of the Pitch Event).

message Role 1: Welcome table. We need two people to sit at this table. 12:45pm - ready for event 1:00pm ensure attendees record their zip code on the attendance sheet give attendees a raffle ticket give the first 100 attendees a shopping bag 1:00pm - 6:00pm Vendor Support - give vendors water, watch their table while they take a 10-min break, encourage shoppers to "post their purchases" and tag Delmar Main Street Holiday Expo. Event Navigation - Delmar Divine is a large building. Part of your role will be to help event attendees navigate the building. The expo will take place in the Burgess Community Room. The Food Vendors will be set up in the Cafeteria. Part of your role will be to show people how to get to the bathrooms and to the food court. We will also have a vendor that will offer candle making in the NODE (across from cafeteria).
