About the event

The Bear is Back! The award-winning National Black Bear Festival is excited to announce that we are in the planning stages for our annual event on Friday evening, June 5th and all day on Saturday, June 6th, 2026. As always, this year's Bear Festival will be full of fun and surprises as we celebrate America's 250th Birthday.

Responsible for selling and collecting money for all Official Festival Merchandise. (Tee shirts, Stuffed Bears, Etc.) Cash, Credit Card handling and accurately make change. Accurately calculate purchase totals. Suggestive selling appreciated. Retail experience is helpful.

Terms & Conditions

1. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. 2. Applications are accepted upon availability. 3. Application has been completed accurately. 4. Volunteers are representing The National Black Bear Festival and should conduct themselves appropriately. If inappropriate behavior occurs while representing the festival, the volunteer will be asked to leave and may be banned from future Festivals. 5. Volunteers must check in 15 minutes prior to their assigned shift. 6. Any equipment issued to volunteers must be returned at end of shift (unless otherwise communicated). 7. Volunteers should enter their shift with a glad and joyful heart. By hitting submit I agree to all Term and Conditions inclusive of all attachments and waivers.
