*Volunteer Captains are required to attend a brief training the week of the festival* A Volunteer Shift Captain is the on-the-ground leader for volunteers during their assigned time block. They check volunteers in, provide quick orientation, monitor coverage at all stations, manage breaks, solve minor issues, and communicate any urgent needs to the Volunteer Coordinator or festival leadership. They ensure the volunteer team runs smoothly and safely throughout the day.

Assist performers and partners with finding correct locations such as stages and green room. Physical requirements include walking throughout the festival footprint and standing for long periods of time. Light lifting may be requested. Other requirements include proximity to loud noises from stage speakers, presence in dressing rooms requiring discretion and privacy for performers, and coordination with Entertainment Staff to assist timely arrival of performers.
