Terms and Conditions for Volunteers
Eligibility: Volunteers for the Beer Garden and Practical Magic Screening must be 21 years or older and provide a valid ID to confirm age, as these events involves alcohol.
Commitment: Volunteers are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before the shift start time to receive any instructions/training and remain at your station until your shift ends or the event organizer releases you
Conduct: Volunteers must adhere to event policies, treat all attendees respectfully, and refrain from consuming alcohol or engaging in unprofessional behavior during their shift.
Training: Volunteers will receive a brief orientation on their responsibilities. No prior experience required.
Confidentiality: Volunteers must not share or misuse attendee information accessed through Eventeny or during ID checks, ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
Liability: Volunteers agree to perform duties at their own risk. The Coupeville Historic Waterfront Association, Town of Coupeville and Coupeville Rec Hall are not liable for any injuries or incidents that may occur during the volunteer shift, except as required by law.
Dress Code: Volunteers should wear neat, casual attire or Practically Magic Themed attire appropriate for a public event. Event-specific attire (e.g., name tags) may be provided.
No Compensation: This is a volunteer position with no monetary compensation. Volunteers may receive non-monetary benefits, such as event access after their shift (subject to event organizer approval).
Cancellation or Changes: Event organizers reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reassign volunteer duties due to unforeseen circumstances. Volunteers will be notified promptly of any changes.
