About the event

Every October, we throw the biggest party in town—the Atlanta Pride Festival! It’s the nation’s largest free Pride festival, with a massive parade that energizes the streets. But that’s not all we do! Atlanta Pride runs a year-round schedule of educational, social, and cultural events to keep the community engaged and inspired. We also give back through partnerships with other organizations and grantmaking initiatives to support local LGBTQ+ causes.

About the application

As the Atlanta Pride Committee Chair, you’re already an essential part of the team, helping to bring our events and mission to life. Thank you for stepping into this leadership role—your dedication makes it all possible! We are now collecting key information in our system to ensure everything is organized and up to date for this year’s Festival. While your assignment is confirmed, this is how we will officially assign you to your committee in the system. Please complete the brief form linked below. Important next steps: Please download the attached document from the application, complete it, and send it directly to Kaleb at Kaleb.Solberg@AtlantaPride.org as soon as possible. If applicable, only one submission per committee is required, so please coordinate with your co-chair to avoid duplicate entries. The document is an Excel file that will help create shifts for your department in the system. If you have any difficulties or questions, please do not hesitate to contact Kaleb for assistance. Your leadership is vital in creating safe, vibrant, and affirming spaces for our LGBTQIA+ community. We truly appreciate your commitment and can’t wait to make this year’s Pride the best together. Terms & Conditions

I agree to be a volunteer at the Atlanta Pride Festival, produced by the Atlanta Pride Committee, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "APC"). I understand that I am a volunteer and that I represent APC. I agree to treat each guest of the event with dignity and respect. I understand that I may be relieved of my volunteer duties at any time and for any reason by the APC Volunteer Coordinator or the Executive Director. I understand that I may not serve as a volunteer if I am under the influence of alcohol or drugs and that I may not consume alcohol or drugs during my shift(s). By signing this release, I give permission to APC to use my photograph in any materials produced by the APC. I understand that I am not an official spokesperson, employee, staff member, or Board Member of APC. I understand that I am not authorized to speak on behalf of APC, and I may not obligate APC in any contractual matter, nor do I have decision-making authority with regard to public safety matters. I agree to abide by all rules set forth by APC and further agree to hold harmless the City of Atlanta, Piedmont Park Conservancy, and APC for any acts performed by me outside the scope of my activities as a volunteer. I understand that if I am unwilling to agree to each and all of the terms and conditions above, I will be unable to volunteer for the 2025 Atlanta Pride Festival.
