About the application

Help keep things running smoothly from the moment patrons arrive! We're looking for responsible and clear-headed volunteers to serve as Parking Attendants. In this role, you’ll be managing pass-only parking lots, potentially directing vehicles. and providing helpful, accurate information to attendees. Volunteers must be able to communicate clearly and confidently, remain calm under pressure, and be comfortable working outdoors—rain or shine. This role requires attention to detail, quick decision-making, and a friendly yet firm demeanor. You'll be the first point of contact for many guests, so a welcoming attitude and professional presence are essential. Volunteers should also be able to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances as needed. If you're dependable, enjoy being outdoors, and can help create an organized, safe arrival experience, we’d love to have you on the team!

Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! To ensure a successful event experience for everyone, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions: Commitment & Attendance: - This is a rain or shine event. Volunteers are expected to show up for their scheduled shifts regardless of weather conditions. - If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer shift, you are required to notify the Swiss Bear team at least 24 hours in advance so arrangements can be made. No-shows without notice may impact your eligibility for future volunteer opportunities. Arrival & Check-In: - Volunteers must arrive on time and check in at the designated location prior to the start of their shift. Please allow time for parking and walking to the check-in area. Conduct & Responsibilities: - Volunteers are expected to be respectful, courteous, and professional when interacting with guests, vendors, staff, and fellow volunteers. - Follow the instructions of event staff and team leaders at all times. - Remain at your assigned post unless otherwise directed. - Wear your provided volunteer shirt and maintain a neat appearance. Safety & Accessibility: - Volunteers must be physically able to complete their assigned tasks, which may include standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs (depending on the role), or working in outdoor conditions. - Please notify the volunteer coordinator ahead of time if you have any accessibility needs or limitations. Substance Use: - The use of drugs or alcohol before or during your volunteer shift is strictly prohibited. Any violation may result in immediate dismissal from your role. Media & Photography: -By volunteering, you agree that your image may be captured in photos or videos during the event and used for promotional purposes by Swiss Bear and its partners. Liability Waiver: - Volunteers agree to participate at their own risk and release Swiss Bear, its staff, affiliates, and partners from any liability for injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the event. By submitting your volunteer application or signing up for a shift, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
