About the event

Citrus County Chamber Annual Christmas Parades. Two Towns, Two Parades, Two (different) Days, ONE GREAT TIME! Crystal River Parade - Saturday, December 6th | 6:00 p.m. Inverness Parade - Saturday, December 13th | 12:00 p.m. Please note, there are TWO registrations for 2025. Each city has it's own registration. If you are wishing to be in BOTH parades, you will be required to fill out both Crystal River and Inverness Parade Applications.

Dear Community Members, The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to host the 2025 Chamber Christmas Parade in Inverness on Saturday, December 13th! We’re inviting volunteers to help make this event a wonderful celebration of community and patriotism. Here are the volunteer shifts and roles available: Check-In: 7:30 am – 12:00 pm Staging: 7:30 am – 12:00 am Set Up and Break Down: 7:30 am – 2:00 pm If you’re available and would like to participate, please sign up by replying to this email or through our volunteer registration page: Volunteer Application – Inverness Christmas Parade Thank you for helping us bring the spirit of the holidays to our community! We look forward to working together to make this parade a memorable event. Warm regards, Missy Slanker special Events Manager Citrus County Chamber of Commerce To View the Parade: Park along W. Main St. beginning in the area of Cherry Ave. (Next to Taco Bell), the parade will enter W. Main St. by Dunkin Donuts and head east toward downtown Inverness, then turn off at E. Grace St. right after Mama's Kuntry Kafe. The parade will then follow Grace St. towards HCA Florida Citrus Hospital, following the curve to the right, turning left to continue on to Grace St., turning left on S. Line Ave., then turning right onto W. Highland Blvd., ending at Citrus High School. Traffic Detour Information: Main Street will be closed from Hwy. 44 East to Montgomery Ave. All traffic will be detoured around Main Street via Montgomery Ave. and W. Highland Blvd. N. Apopka Ave., E. Dampier Street, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. will be closed; traffic will be detoured down E. Dampier St. to N. Seminole Ave. onto Tompkins St. Grace St. will be closed; all traffic will be detoured via W. Highland Blvd. Gospel Island residents will use Zephyr Street and Tompkins St. to Hwy. 41 North. Highlands South community can utilize alternate routes to 41 South by utilizing Hill Street and Inverness Blvd and Pleasant Grove Road by utilizing West Arbor Street. Road Closures will begin at 10:45 AM and are estimated to last until 2:00 PM.

2025 Inverness Christmas Parade Volunteer Disclaimer and Hold Harmless Agreement Event Date: December 13, 2025 The undersigned hereby agrees that as a volunteer for the 2025 Inverness Christmas Parade on December 13, 2025, they are offering their services willingly and without compensation, and assume all risks associated with their participation in any and all event-related activities. In consideration for being allowed to participate as a volunteer, the undersigned does hereby release, waive, and discharge the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Inverness, including their officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by the volunteer or to any property belonging to them, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, while participating in or in transit to or from the event. The undersigned further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Inverness from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from the volunteer’s actions or omissions during their participation in the event. By signing below, the volunteer (or parent/legal guardian in the case of a minor) acknowledges that they have read and fully understand this agreement and voluntarily agree to its terms. This agreement shall be binding upon the volunteer, their heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
