About the event

Our lively community carnival has been a La Grange tradition for over three decades and features spectacular rides with LED light displays, family favorites like bumper cars and Ferris wheel, games of chance, engaging games for children, and concessions. It is staged in the central business district on Harris Avenue between La Grange Road and Ashland Avenue. Carnival Hours Friday, May 31st: 5pm- 10pm Saturday, June 1st: 12pm- 10pm Sunday June 2nd: 12pm- 9pm

About the application

Be part of the magic and help make one of La Grange’s favorite traditions a success! For over 30 years, the La Grange Carnival has brought joy to families with dazzling rides, classic games, and delicious food — and we couldn't do it without the help of amazing volunteers like you. We’re looking for friendly, energetic volunteers to help during the event. Whether you're helping guests, keeping things running smoothly, or lending a hand with logistics, your support makes a big difference! ✅ Volunteer Roles: • Ticket Seller – Sell ride tickets at designated booths (must be an LGBA Member Representative and be comfortable handling cash/card). • Wristband Attendant – Help distribute and secure all-you-can-ride wristbands. • Information Tent – Answer questions, direct guests, and help with lost & found. • Water Monitor – Keep our volunteers and staff hydrated (must be able to lift water cases and bags of ice). • Clean-Up Crew – Help tidy up during or after the event to keep the grounds clean and safe.
