About the application
festivals. We have partnered with New Terra Compost, a company that
provides certified food service supplies that are not harmful to humans
when used for serving food and will not harm or contaminate the soil
when added to a compost pile. Prices of these certified products are
comparable with other quality supplies. In addition, the supplies
ordered from New Terra are delivered to the vendor at the show. New
Terra’s team of volunteers will handle emptying and transport of all
trash, recyclable, and compostable waste to appropriate dumpsters for
transport off-site. Each food vendor will have a garbage can that will
be frequently emptied by New Terra staff. They will also move broken-
down cardboard boxes to the recycling dumpster.
We have also contracted with DarPro Solutions for collection and
disposal of oil and grease. DarPro will supply 300-gallon collection
containers, and vendors will empty their waste oil and grease into the
collection containers. DarPRo will do the rest. There is no charge for
this service.

- FOOD VENDORS COOKING WITH OIL WILL HAVE A CLASS (K) FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND A REGULAR ONE - BOTH UP TO DATE. WE WILL BE CHECKING THIS PRIOR TO THE SHOW OPENING.
- PROPANE TANKS WILL BE BUNGEED TOGETHER OR IN A CONTAINER THAT CANNOT TIP OVER. THIS WILL BE CHECKED PRIOR TO OPENING OF THE SHOW.
- NO COOKING BEHIND YOUR BOOTH OR STORAGE. YOU WILL HAVE SPACE BESIDE YOU THAT WILL ALLOW FOR THIS AS LONG AS IT IS DISPLAYED NICELY.
- GARBAGE: YOU MUST DISPOSE OF YOUR OWN GARBAGE, GRAY WATER, OILS AND GREASE. YOU MUST BAG YOUR GARBAGE AND HAUL IT TO THE DUMPSTER ON A REGULAR BASIS. YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN GARBAGE BAGS. NO GARBAGE WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE LEFT OVER NIGHT, ESPECIALLY PINEAPPLES AND SEAFOOD. NO GARBAGE WILL BE ALLOWED TO BUILD UP WITHOUT BEING BAGGED. ALL EMPTY BOXES MUST BE BROKEN DOWN, FLATTENED, AND TAKEN TO THE DUMPSTER. ALL GRAY WATER, OILS AND GREASE MUST BE DISPOSED OF IN A CENTERALIZED CONTAINER NEAR THE GARBAGE TRUCK OR DUMPSTER.
- RESPONSIBLIITY FOR GARBAGE: IF I SEE GARBAGE BEHIND YOUR BOOTH NOT BAGGED, I AM NOT TOLERATING THIS ANYMORE. I WILL COME WITH THE POLICE CHIEF AND SHUT YOU DOWN. NO WARNINGS ANYMORE. WE WILL NOT ASK YOU TO BAG IT. PLEASE BE RESPONSABLE ABOUT THIS.
- WATER HOSES: ALL HOSES USED MUST BE FOOD GRADE HOSES.
- ALL BOOTHS WILL HAVE COVERINGS TO PREVENT SPILLS ONTO AND STAINING OF THE PAVEMENT.
- THE CHATTANOOGA SEAFOOD FESTIVAL IS A GREEN FESTIVAL WHICH MEANS YOU MUST BUY YOUR SERVING PRODUCT FROM NEW TERRA WHICH IS THE SAME PRICE AS REGULAR PRODUCT
