About the application

Thank you for your interest in being a craft vendor at the Apple BBQ Festival, attended by over 25,000 visitors annually
 
This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
 
ACCEPTABLE CATEGORIES:  The Apple BBQ Festival is committed to presenting authentic, hand-made arts and crafts.  All items must be hand made.  No retail, wholesale, consignment, flea market, imports, mass-produced work, collectible items, sublimation, or silk-screening will be allowed.  Handmade food items must comply with the State of Michigan laws for processing and labeling.  The ABF reserves the right to examine applicants’ web pages and any available documentation to determine that an artist is in compliance with the terms of our application.  All participants are limited to the show and sale of items specifically listed on the application.  Additions must be approved prior to the show. The Festival Committee reserves the right to require the removal of unsuitable work prior to, or during the festival.

Terms & Conditions

BOOTH FEES & INFORMATION: Booths spaces are 12’x12’ located on a closed road in front of the festival.  Tents and tables are not provided.  Only one vendor is permitted per booth.  Booth fees are $85 ($100 after 03/14/2023) and no refunds will be granted after August 1, 2023.  Requests for booth locations are considered but not guaranteed.  Weights to secure your tents and belongings are strongly encouraged.
 
ELIGIBILITY: The ABF Craft Show is looking for authentic artists and crafters who have hand-crafted items that fit within the categories listed in the application.  
 
TO ENTER:  Each applicant must submit an application and a minimum of two (2) electronic images for consideration by the jury.  The images must be fully representative of the work you will sell at the Craft Show.
 
ACCEPTANCE:  The festival will accept vendors until the event is full.  You will be notified of your status after the committee has reviewed your application.  If you applied electronically, you may look up the status of your application(s) online. If accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter.  Applications will not be accepted after August 12, 2023.  Prior to the festival, you will receive a packet with booth location confirmation, set-up information and day-of event details.  
 
SETUP & TEAR DOWN:  
Vehicles may not be parked in the craft show area after setup ends at 9AM.  All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking lot adjacent to craft show grounds (more information to follow).  You will be assigned a designated time for setup Saturday between 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.  Craft show hours are: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  You must agree to be in place with items for sale during these hours. THERE WILL BE NO BREAKDOWN OF BOOTHS PRIOR TO 5 PM ON SATURDAY.  ALL BOOTHS MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE STREET BEGINNING PROMPTLY AT 5PM.
