An outdoor festival featuring entertainment on three stages, a carnival, arts & crafts show, craft beer & wine area, Taste of Schaumburg, Not-for-Profit Day, Bingo, free pony rides on Saturday, fireworks on Sunday evening, and a Labor Day parade on Monday.

About the registration

The Village of Schaumburg and the Septemberfest Committee cordially invite you to participate in the 52nd annual Septemberfest. This Labor Day celebration promises to bring the quality of entertainment and activities that typically draw approximately 250,000 northwest suburban residents to the event annually.
 
Important Dates:
May 26, 2023: Extended deadline for online application. The deadline has been extended until media categories are full. The jewelry and wood categories are currently full. 
June 1, 2023: Notification of jurying results sent to applicants.
June 30, 2023: Booth fee charged for successful applicants; your booth space will not be reserved without payment by the deadline. There will be no refunds for cancellations. However, refunds would be made in the event of the Septemberfest arts & crafts show being cancelled.
August 15, 2023: Set-up information sent to participants.
 
Arts & Crafts Show Dates & Hours:
Saturday, 9/2: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, 9/3: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday, 9/4: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.(The festival closes at 10 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday and 9 p.m. on Monday)
 
Eligible crafts and fine arts are inclusive of, but not limited to the following: baskets, candles, ceramics/pottery, clothing, crocheted/knitting, doll/goose clothing, fine art, floral, furniture, glass, jewelry, kids items/clothing, metal, pet items, photography, sewn items, soaps/skincare, stained glass, stone/concrete, edible packaged food/beverage item(s), or wood all crafted by the artist. 

Terms & Conditions

Please see attached general information. By submitting an application, applicant hereby certifies that all items represented in the Septemberfest Arts & Crafts Show are individually hand-crafted items, created by the undersigned artist. The undersigned further understands that no imports, kits, resale products, manufactured items, product-line reps, or fuel generators are permitted. Edible packaged food and beverage items must not require any temperature monitoring and be prepared in a licensed kitchen or commissary; sampling must be made for individuals (not shared) and approved by the arts & crafts show subcommittee. If any licensed items are sold it is the artist’s responsibility to make sure any copyrights are not violated when selling these products. Raffles are prohibited. The Septemberfest Committee reserves the right to view each booth after set-up and to request removal of any items that were not juried into the show and/or were deemed inappropriate for sale at Septemberfest. The undersigned hereby certifies that he/she understands and accepts all the rules and guidelines governing this event. Furthermore, the undersigned recognizes that failure to abide by the guidelines stated or implied, could possibly result in immediate removal from the Arts & Crafts Show and/or disqualification from any future Village of Schaumburg Arts & Crafts Shows. Fees will not be refunded in such instances. Applicant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Village, and all of its agents, assigns and employees with regards to any damages and/or causes of action resulting from the negligence and/or willful conduct of the vendor or its agents, assigns, or employees, or as the result of the use of the vendor’s product or equipment in the display of the products.
