About the application

This application is intended for vendors interested in selling licensed and bulk produced merchandise. If you intend on selling fan art or hand made pieces, Please see our Artist Alley registration information. In order to vend at Anime Weekend Atlanta, you must be approved by AWA. If you are interested in purchasing booth space please fill out our dealer application with as much detail as possible. Any omissions or inaccurate information may result in a rejection or delay in processing of your form. Your card will be charged upon acceptance of your application.
 
This application closes September 1, 2023 at 11pm.

This guide is your key to everything you need to know about the AWA Dealer’s Room. It has been updated for 2023, and contains important information, pricing, and steps for application process. Please read it carefully and feel free to email any questions or comments you have to dealers@awa-con.com. 
 
 
Important  Dealer Information                  
•  AWA will be held October 26th-29th,2023          
•  The Dealer’s room will be located at the Cobb Galleria inside Exhibit Halls A, B, and C Cobb Galleria Centre 2 Galleria Pkwy Atlanta, GA 30339      
 
Vendor Badge Pricing  
Your first booth comes with 4 badges. One (1) badge will be included with each additional booth you purchase; you must indicate you want these badges on the application. Any additional badges will be available for $70, and must also be indicated on the application. If you need to purchase additional badges at the show, they will be available for $100.

Booth Specs (See below for prices)
Each booth consists of one 10’ x 10’ pipe and drape section. Please note that the booth includes a table and 2 chairs.   
There will be a limit of 20 corner booths available to be sold to first come, first served basis, and a limit of 10 Full End Caps available to be sold to first come, first served basis.
 
Booth prices do not include power or communication; Cobb Galleria Centre has an online service order form for these services. We will contact you with the link to the forms closer to the show.   Booth prices include pipe and drape, 1 table, and 2 chairs. We will contact you with the show decorator’s pricing closer to the show.  
 
Covid-19                 
COVID19 Policies are TBA. If you are unable to get vaccinated due to personal reasons, please take extra precautions to avoid getting sick. Exhibitors must follow all sanitation protocols established for the convention such as wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer. We will provide updates via email and on our website leading up to the event as our policies change over the next year. 
 
AWA is not responsible in any manner for any risks related to COVID-19 in connection the event. The World Health Organization has classified the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic and that COVID-19 is a highly contagious and dangerous disease, and that contact with the virus that causes COVID-19 may result in significant personal injury or death regardless of vaccination status.  
 
Insurance *New Policy*
Starting in 2023, all exhibitors will be required to have insurance and must list AWA, LLC as an additional insured (Possibly the Galleria as well). We have no control over this new requirement nor can we waive this requirement for any vendor. For those who do not normally maintain event insurance, we will be working with an insurance broker who can provide the insurance at a discounted price. We will email more details regarding this at the beginning of 2023. 
 
Payment Options
All cash payments must be made to the registration department (Located in the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in the Garden Court) during the hours listed below. Please go to the Special Registration Desk to register for 2023. Otherwise, you may pay on eventeny. Your card will be charged once your application is approved.
 
 
Booth Cancellations     
Booths cannot be refunded, but may be transferred to the following year on a case by case basis. Please contact us at dealers@awa-con.com if you have registered and will be unable to attend the 2023 show. No transfers will be allowed after September 1, 2023.
 
Japanese Snack Vendors                    
The convention center allows vendors to sell Japanese Snack Foods in the Dealer’s Room. In order to do so, you must complete a Food and Beverage Distribution Form for Cobb Galleria, that can be found at this url:  
http://cobbgalleria.com/Sample_Food_Beverage_Distribution_Authorization.pdf. You may not sell open snack foods under any circumstances.

Banned Items                   
These items cannot be sold under any circumstances at Anime Weekend Atlanta: 
  • Any goods and services deemed illegal under the laws of the United States of America, the state of Georgia and Cobb County, GA (This includes unlicensed Music CDs, Video CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray Discs, Computer and Video Game software)
  • Audio and Video CDs from SonMay (SM), Golden Apple, Game Music, GGG Anime Soundtrack, Golden Anime, FX, Ever Anime A8, GM, Alion and Best Song Collections
  • Unlicensed pins, Wall Scrolls, Toys, Models (Resin or Vinyl kits), Decals, Stickers, and Posters that are not properly marked and labeled with the appropriate copyright information
  • Themed apparel from unlicensed work  (Hats, Headbands, etc)
  • Adult Materials that are Non-Anime and Manga Material
  • Open Food Items
  • Unlicensed Art Books or Manga
  • Fanart
