The City of Oxford and DOEDC are excited to invite you all to the 2022 Lighting of the Greens and Christmas Parade! Beginning at 4:00 pm bring out the family for some Christmas fun and stay for the Christmas Parade beginning at 7:00 pm! Stay tuned for more information! Event Schedule: 4:00 Pm - Festivities begin on Main Street 6:45 PM - Lighting of the Greens 7:00 PM - Parade Begins

About the application

A whimsical, season of lights night is planned for the 17th Annual Lighting of the Greens and Christmas Parade. This event is sponsored by the City of Oxford and its partner, the Downtown Oxford Economic Development Corporation (DOEDC). The parade is scheduled to take place Friday, December 2, 2022, in the rain, snow, or shine, so please plan accordingly.
 
If you are interested in participating as an applicant please follow all instructions and fill out the application. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been submitted THIS DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN YOU'VE BEEN ACCEPTED. Once your application is accepted you will be contacted by event staff. 
 
PLEASE READ: We are currently working to get the online payments set up. As of right now when you enter your card information you WILL NOT BE CHARGED. Before we charge your card, event staff will reach out to you to make sure we have your authorization to charge the card on file.

Float/Personal vehicle/decorated trailer/car/truck $50 Non-refundable price is per vehicle entry ex. 2 vehicles = $100
Antique/Classic car $50 Non-refundable price is per vehicle entry ex. 2 vehicles = $100
Motorcycle $35 Non-refundable price is per vehicle entry ex. 2 vehicles = $70
Decorated golf cart $20 Non-refundable price is per vehicle entry ex. 2 vehicles = $40
