About the event

Rated #7 Art Festival in the Nation and #1 in Florida by Sunshine Artist Magazine, the 23rd Annual Chain of Parks Art Festival is North Florida’s premiere outdoor fine art festival. Located in downtown Tallahassee along Park Avenue, the festival provides an opportunity for art lovers and artists to connect over the weekend. Expect to have a first-class, fun-filled outdoor cultural experience. View amazing, original, and one-of-a-kind works of art from 150 fine artists in a delightful Southern outdoor setting. Live entertainment will be available, along with local food trucks, chalk artists, and libations at our festival bar. The festival has expanded to offer new and exciting programs to bring the community unique fine art experiences such as FSU’s Opening Nights Special Presenting Artist event with artist John Ensor Parker and a birdhouse art installation competition in Downtown Tallahassee, all leading up to the festival weekend with Artists in the Park April 15-16, 2023!

About the application

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Chain of Parks Art Festival!
 
The Village is an area within the Festival that provides opportunities for community connections to an estimated 35-40,000+ enthusiastic visitors! The purpose of this area is to promote organizations that support the arts in our community. The Village incorporates Community Partners, Brand Ambassadors, Pop-Up Studios, and the historical Jacques Le Moyne Encampment, with fun foods, entertainment, and more!
 
Brand Ambassadors gain the following benefits:
  • Outreach opportunities to an estimated 35-40,000+ visitors to the festival interested in art
  • Listing in the Festival Program distributed to hotels, sponsors, and at the festival
  • 10 x 10 booth space
  • Access to the “Behind the Scenes” refreshment area and one reserved parking pass
  • Digital festival postcard available for pre-show promotion
What is a Brand Ambassador? 
  • Businesses who want to interact with the public to talk about their offerings
  • Please note: you are not allowed to sell goods or services, but you are allowed to provide attendees with hand-outs, make appointments, and share mailing-list information 
  • Booths have a visually appealing set-up
  • Booths have an interactive activity, like a group art project, raffle, or game
Requirements to participate:
1.) Booth space is limited. Applications will be accepted for review until Feb. 1, 2023. If space is available, late applications will be considered with a $25.00 late fee. 

2.) The fee to participate is $500. Payment will be automatically collected after acceptance to the festival unless other arrangements have been made BEFORE Feb. 1, 2023. The fee is for both days of the festival.

3.) Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds unless a special case is reviewed and approved by the Steering Committee.

4.) Booth set up is between 6- 9pm on Friday, April 14, 2023. Booths must be disassembled between 4- 8pm on April 16. All vehicles must be moved to designated parking by 9pm on Friday, or they will be subject to towing from festival grounds.

5.) Our organization agrees to not sell any products or charge for any services during our participation. In fairness to all vendors at the Festival, we understand that we are not permitted to sell any art or other products. Water or other concessions may not be given away from your booth space. You are welcome to offer taste-testing samples, information regarding your business, and marketing items.

6.) Our organization agrees to have at least one representative present at our booth to help supervise the interactive activity during all Festival hours.

7.) Vendors supply their own booth tables, chairs, and small tents (no larger than 10x10). Vendor tents must be properly weighted down; stakes are not permitted.

8.) Chain of Parks Art Festival is held outdoors on city streets and in parks. Electricity is available for purchase for $25.00 per plug (20 AMPS).

Upon acceptance to participate, the Festival Manager will communicate additional set-up information via Eventeny. Detailed Setup Times, Schedule & Information Provided: Late March/Early April 2023.

Terms & Conditions

2023 GENERAL RELEASE OF CLAIMS & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENTLEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. does NOT provide liability insurance for the protection of persons, vendors, entertainers, merchants, organizations, spectators or others who participate in any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event.
 
In consideration of participating in the Chain of Parks Art Festival, I do hereby release and forever discharge LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and sponsors from any and all actions, negligence, causes of actions, claims and demands, for any damage, loss or injury, which hereafter may be sustained by me or my organization in connection with or relating to any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event.
 
This release extends to, applies to, covers and includes all known, unknown, disclosed, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, losses and liabilities, and the consequences thereof, notwithstanding the provisions of any state, federal, local or territorial law or statute to the contrary. Such provisions are hereby expressly waived.
 
It is further understood and agreed that my/my organization’s participation in any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event is not to be construed as an admission of liability or the assumption of any responsibility by LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and/or sponsors for any act or omission by me or any member(s) of my organization.
 
I hereby agree on behalf of my organization, its heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to indemnify LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. and its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and sponsors, jointly and severally, and to hold them harmless from and against any and all actions, negligence, claims, demands and liabilities, loss damages and expense of whatever kind or nature, including attorney fees, which may from any organizations participation in the LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event.
 
Furthermore, I agree that the venue for any claim or matter relating to this agreement shall be Leon County, Florida.
 
LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., The City of Tallahassee and The Tallahassee Police Department reserve the right to remove any misrepresented or inappropriate material or persons from any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event, including but not limited to, The Village. Non-compliance with Chain of Parks Art Festival’s directive, rules and/or regulations will result in the forfeiture of my/my organization’s booth and immediate closure by the Tallahassee Police Department and LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC.

Prices

10x10 Booth/ Space $525 Non-refundable LATE FEE ADDED. The fee to participate is $500 and will automatically be processed unless you have made other arrangements with the Festival Manager. Booth space is limited and will not be confirmed until payment is received. Booth cancellations are non-refundable after February 15, 2022. A $50.00 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations prior to February 15, 2022. Refunds will be given within 30 days. Vendor fees will not be refunded if the festival must be canceled due to inclement weather, acts of God, or any other circumstance deemed necessary by Chain of Parks Art Festival and city officials.
20amp Power Access $25 Non-refundable We do have the ability to get you power (20amp) if you bring your own extension cords, but access will be limited.
(PAY BY CHECK) 10x10 Booth Space $0 Non-refundable PAY BY CHECK option: The fee to participate is $500, to have access to 25amp power is an additional $25. If approved, we must receive a check by Feb. 15, 2023, to hold your spot. Address check to: Chain of Parks Art Festival 125 N.
