The Winterville Chamber is proud to continue the Market on the Square tradition in 2026! This seasonal market series brings together local vendors, community organizations, and families for evenings full of connection, shopping, and fun.

The Market on the Square series is made possible through our valued partnership with the Town of Winterville. We appreciate the support we receive from Curtis Media Group and the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge.

Markets will be held on the second Friday of each month from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at 252 Main Street in Winterville on the following dates:

• June 12th (Juneteenth Celebration)
• July 10th (Touch-a Truck)
• August 14th (National Night Out/Back to School Splash)
• September 11th ( Community Heroes Day)

The following specialty dates are extensions of the Market, but have different themes and locations. These also have vending opportunities and you may apply using the same application. Please be sure you note the locations, times, and dates.

Market on the Square is designed to showcase local businesses, artisans, vendors, and community organizations. Each market features a variety of vendors selling handmade goods, specialty foods, and unique products, along with activities that make the event enjoyable for the whole family. Guests can expect a lively, welcoming atmosphere with entertainment and opportunities to connect with others in the community.

Participation in Market on the Square is free for Winterville Chamber members and $25 per market for non-members.

Our Christmas Market is a special annual fundraiser supporting the Winterville Police Department's Shop with a Cop program. Vendor participation for this event is $15 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members.

This event continues to be made possible through the support of community partners and the Town of Winterville, helping us create a space where local businesses can grow and residents can gather to enjoy our shared Slice of the Good Life.

Please review the full Vendor Rules & Guidelines document carefully. The following are some key highlights:

• Food truck vendors are by invitation only. Pre-packaged food type vendors may use this application. Please email us for interest in being a food truck vendor.
• Vendors must remain open for the full event hours. Early breakdown is not permitted.
• Each vendor space is 10x10, and power is not available. All tents must be properly weighted for safety.
• Certain novelty items and weapons are prohibited, including poppers, fireworks, silly string, and similar items.
• Only one (1) direct sales or specialty vendor per company (e.g., Mary Kay, Avon, Scentsy, Tupperware, etc.)
• Vendors are responsible for obtaining all required permits and collecting sales tax as required by law. You must provide us with your NC sales tax ID number.
• Vendor fees are non-refundable, including in the event of weather-related cancellations.
