About the application

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a food vendor at the 4th of July Fireworks. Food vendors are defined as vendors that sell food products that are cooked on site or vendors that sell food or beverage items that need to be kept at a certain temperature. PLEASE NOTE:  Laurel Main Street will assign booth space based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to food type, and booth size.  We do not accept booth location requests. Please note not everyone who applies will be accepted. We are looking for a variety of different vendors. 

 

No water or electrical access is available.  QUIET GENERATORS REQUIRED.

About the event

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary in the heart of Downtown Laurel at the City of Laurel’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Show! 🇺🇸 Join us for an evening of community, food, and patriotic fun as we honor this historic milestone together. Food trucks will be set up from 5:00–9:00 PM in the parking lot across from the Veterans Memorial and the Laurel-Jones County Library on the corner of Leontyne Price Boulevard—so come early, grab a bite, and enjoy the festive downtown atmosphere. Then, at 9:00 PM, look to the sky as we light up the night with a spectacular fireworks display in celebration of 250 years of America. Bring your friends, your family, and your red, white, and blue—this is a celebration you won’t want to miss!

Terms & Conditions

The Festival Sponsor, Laurel Main Street, nor the City of Laurel is responsible for any lost/stolen/vandalized/damaged property during the Festival activities. The Festival Sponsor, Laurel Main Street, and the City of Laurel are not responsible for and the concessionaire accepts full responsibility for any injuries to person or property while in or about the concessionaire's booth and any injury to people manning the concessionaire booth. By completing this application, the vendor agrees to the terms and conditions. This is an electronic agreement and by submitting an application, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

Prices

Refundable Deposit $100.00 There is a $100 refundable deposit which is charged upon application. This deposit will be returned at the conclusion of the festival if the vendor does not create health, safety, or sanitation issues.
Single booth, 12'x20' $200.00 Non-refundable There is a $200 booth fee that is charged upon application. PLEASE NOTE: Booth spaces are only 20' long. If your booth is larger than 12'x20', please purchase more than one space. Accommodations will not be made for oversized booths.

  • I understand that electricity access is not available this year and will make arrangements accordingly. I agree that if I bring a generator, I may only use it if it is a quiet generator.
  • Are you serving from a tent or a vehicle?
  • If you are serving from a vehicle, which side of the vehicle is your serving window on?
  • What is the complete length of your setup, including your trailer hitch (if you have one)?
  • Please submit a copy of your menu or a list of what you plan to offer so that two vendors selling the same items are not placed next to each other.
  • Please describe any specific load in needs. For example, do you unload from a UHaul? Can your trailer be parallel parked between two other trailers?
  • Do you have to set up equipment outside your trailer or tent to be able to operate?
  • Does your operation generate smoke when you’re cooking?
  • Laurel Main Street will assign booth space based on a variety of factors. We do not accept booth location requests.
  • I understand that if I am accepted, my payment method will be charged immediately for the vendor fee and the refundable deposit.
