First Friday Vendor Rules & Guidelines
First Friday is a community-focused event designed to support artisans, food vendors, musicians, and our downtown small businesses. All vendors are expected to contribute to a positive, welcoming, and commerce-driven atmosphere. Vendor items should be high quality and booths should have a professional appearance.
Event Purpose & Restrictions
- Vendors may not promote or campaign for political parties or candidates.
- Vendor spaces should reflect the spirit of an artisan market and community event that drives traffic to downtown businesses. Booths that are solely distributing flyers, pamphlets, or promotional materials without offering products, services, or an interactive component are not permitted.
- Religious organizations wishing to participate must offer goods and services. Booths may not be used solely for recruiting or distribution of religious materials.
Spacing & Setup - Sidewalk spaces are approximately 10 feet wide.
- Vendors must leave clear pathways for two-way foot traffic, including accessibility for wheelchairs and strollers, between tables, tent poles, and the street.
- Sidewalk widths vary. Vendors are responsible for adjusting their setup accordingly.
- Do not block business entrances unless you have received permission from that business.
Conduct
- Be respectful to businesses, fellow vendors, and event organizers.
- No arguing, smoking, spitting, hate speech or items displaying hate spreech, or aggressive behavior will be tolerated.
Payment
- Payment is due at the time of signup.
- All payments are considered donations to the Downtown Revitalization Project (DRP) and are non-refundable.
Communitcation
- Vendors are responsible for reading all event emails thoroughly to avoid missed instructions or repeated questions.
Compliance
- Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the vendor roster.
- This is an electronic agreement and by proceeding, you are validating and approving this agreement and liability waiver electronically.
Reliability Policy
To maintain a dependable, high-quality event for the community:
- No-shows (vendors who are assigned a space but do not attend and fail to cancel) and repeat late cancellations (after the event map is posted) will be removed from the vendor roster for all DRP events.
Weather Policy

- It is the vendors responsiblity to secure tents and items during windy conditions
